A Deep Dive into America's Perspective on Abortion - Part 1

Welcome back to the podcast! In this episode, we’ll be giving a thorough analysis and insight into the 2024 Knights of Columbus Marist Poll results. With the issue of abortion at the core, this poll reveals significant observations about how the American culture perceives and deals with the issue in the present day.

The 2024 Knights of Columbus Marist Poll is a credible and reliable source of determining American public opinion. Conducted annually for several years, the results are informative, and at times, unsettling. This episode aims to address the cultural impacts and directional trends related to the abortion issue in the United States through these poll findings.

An intriguing takeaway from the poll is that 66% of the respondents were in favor of legal limits being placed on abortion. The majority opinion leaned towards limiting abortions to the first three months of pregnancy. A significant 83% were supportive of pregnancy resource centers, and two-thirds of the respondents believed that healthcare professionals with religious objections should not be forced to carry out abortions.
